The Saratoga XC Classic is designated as a USATF Adirondack XC Individual and Team Championship race as well as being part of the USATF Adirondack Individual and Grand Prix Series. In addition, the race will offer a 2K and 3K Kids Developmental race, as well as hosting the USATF Adirondack 5 Km Race Walk Championship on the park roads.
About this Event
The Saratoga Cross Country Classic 5k is open to all athletes. It takes place on the historic Saratoga Spa State Park Cross Country Course in beautiful Saratoga Springs, New York. This is the home course of many local High School Cross Country teams as well as other College and Scholastic Championships and Invitationals. The race is also designated as a USATF Adirondack XC Individual and Team Championship race as well as being part of the USATF Adirondack Individual and Grand Prix Series. In conjunction with the 5K XC Classic, 2K and 3K Kids Development races will be held on the cross country course. Also on offer is the USATF Adirondack 5 Km Race Walk Championship, which will be held on the roads in the park.
Start/Finish
The Start and Finish are located on the lawn between the Hall of Springs and the Spa Little Theatre Parking Lots.

8:00 am - USATF Adirondack 5K Race Walk Championships (Road) Open to all. Championship Medals will be awarded to USATF Adirondack Members.
8:15 am – Kids’ 2k and 3k XC course walk through
9:00 am – Kids’ 2k and 3k Development XC Runs
10:00 am – 5K Cross Country Classic
5K XC Awards Ceremony on site following 5K race conclusion
